Original Writing. Darkness covered the sky. Clouds crept over the dark crescent of the moon. An eerie silence hung in the air, interrupted occasionally by the spooky craw of the large, dark, ravens; peering down from the bare, skeletal trees. The wind swept over the fallen autumn leaves, making them rustle; and then there was a deathly silence. Suddenly, a dark silhouette appeared from behind a crumbling, moss-covered gravestone. My blood froze in my veins. Every hair on my neck stood on end and a shiver was sent down my spine. The creature howled into the night air, breaking the silence. It was a werewolf! Terror and panic surged through me. I turned and started to run. In a panic, stumbling, tripping, the creature loped after me, gaining on me. I darted between the trees of the black forest. My imagination was running wild. Trees were turning into witches in...
