Investigation into which material Is the best insulator? Prediction. The five insulators that I am going to test are Paper, Foil, Bubble wrap, Clothing and Cling film. My prediction for the best insulator will be foil because I don't think that it will let out as much heat as the other insulators and this is because I think that it will reduce conduction better than the other five insulators hence keeping the water hotter. Another of my reasons is that foil is used a lot in foods preparations (e.g. around turkey) to keep the food hot so this will add weight to my prediction of foil being able to be the insulator. All of the energy that goes out will go out to the surroundings. I think that paper will be the worst at reducing the conduction as it is very thin and I think that it will easily allow...
