Gender A) Evidence suggests in the 1980's that women had fewer roles meaning they weren't expected to be highly educated, manage a career or fit themselves into the recent culture and fashions. Women were seen in the background as the support or missing piece of a man, the man that strives for success and self-satisfaction. A women's role is much clearer get married and become a mother. As feminism grew it saw radical change for women's roles in society such that they are a lot more independent, they can strive for career satisfaction at the highest ranks and they are not seen as this reproductive machine, they can make their own choice. As contempory UK shows women are becoming more equal to men so they are perceived as not a icon for a man but as a separate state in society in that they are not just a man's stepping stone...
