Discuss the Representation of Women in this Extract of 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' The women is this extract are represented by use of language, clothing and other visual, spatial and aural elements. The women's clothing appears smart and designer which indicates to us that they are all middle class. However we saw most of the women at a wedding which could be why they were all dressed so nicely. We hear very little of the women's jobs, in fact we only know what the lead female does, she works as an editor for Vogue. This is a very high profile job, which indicates to use that she is very successful. The women's hair styles are all very smart and modern. Their hair looks shiny, healthy and well groomed which indicates to us that they can afford to go to the salon often. The women all speak very 'good' English and have middle...
