Ricky Myint Professor Eisenhower Racial Oppression 05/06/03 Our society is one that is controlled by plutocrats whose livelihood depends upon the repeated exploitation of people of any race, color, or creed. The unfortunate thing is, however, that the vast majority of people do not understand that this relationship of exploiter and exploited is hardly a new phenomenon. Throughout history the vast majority of people have been exploited in order to increase the fortunes and fulfill the political agendas of the ruling class. Although the face of this ruling class has changed several times through history, from royalty to dictator to plutocrat, the result is still the same: one group of people is made to be subordinate to the other in order to create the wealth that the ruling body so greedily depends upon.
