Assess the view that rather than having a uniform effect the media messages mean different things to different people The messages the media portray will obviously be seen differently by different groups of individuals in society. This may be due to many factors such as background, upbringing, personal experience, ethnicity and religion. From this individuals have a different perspective in the facts, propaganda or normal informative media texts the media give out. In this essay I will be assessing the view that the media does not have a homogenous or undifferentiated effect on the audience.
