The different purposes for which the organisation uses ICT The company I have been investigating is Doncaster Police. I will be finding out information about Doncaster Police by using the internet and also asking people who have had experience in the Police force. Doncaster Police is a district of South Yorkshire Police whose headquarters are based at Snig Hill in Sheffield. The force is divided into 6 districts at: * Doncaster * Barnsley * Rotherham * Sheffield Central * Sheffield North * Sheffield South The main aims of the police are to protect life and property, the prevention and detection of crime, the prosecution of offenders and to maintain the Queen's peace.
