Firstly it would be appropriate to briefly out line what heroin is and the effect it has on users. Heroin is a semi synthetic, psychoactive opiate derived from the drug morphine. It belongs to a group of drugs known as depressants along with alcohol and barbiturates among others. The effect of heroin intake could be described as a feeling of intense euphoria.
