I think that the above statement can be interpreted ambiguously and can be argued from a significant number of points of view. Firstly I would just like to highlight the noteworthy amount of views from different branches of Christianity. They exist in the form of the Liberals, the Fundamentalists, and so on. All different groups within Christianity have different views on the topic of the Sabbath. The Liberals, for example take the view that some, but not an awful lot, of time is needed to be given to God. They believe that you should go to Mass and pray every so often but they don't carry out the same level of strictness and loyalty that the Fundamentalists, for example hold the view of. These different views are needed in the World because not everyone holds the same
