Why Shabbat is important to Jewish people! In this essay I am explaining why Shabbat is important to Jews. Shabbat begins on Friday dusk because they believe that the day usually begins at dusk and the day finishes at dusk too. During Shabbat Jewish people do a variety of things before they start their Shabbat. Jews keep Shabbat holy because in one of the mitzvah says to observe Shabbat and keep it holy.
