1st April 2004 Outline the work conducted by prophet Muhammed in Makka. Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) was born in the tribe of Quraish. The Quraish lived in Makka and were idol worshippers. The ka'aba was a very holy place for them as there were idols in there. When Prophet Muhammed declared his prophethood and said that there was no god but Allah (swt). Like prophet Ibrahim (pbuh) Prophet Muhammed challenged idol worshipping. The Quraish made most of the money from the idols as people from the Arab world would come to worship there and would pay for shelter and food. The elite of the quraish feared that Prophet Muhammed would be stopping their main source of income if he continued preaching and people turned into Muslims and stopped idol worshipping. They bribed the prophet with many worldly materials like wealth and power. They thought that Prophet Muhammed would agree but...
