People can't be disciples so they can't be Christians either? The Oxford dictionary describes a disciple as 1) The follower of the doctrines of a teacher or school of thought. 2) One of the personnel followers of Christ during his earthly life. Becoming a disciple is all about dedication; you can't become a disciple by merely listening to Jesus you have to act upon his instructions. Listening is the easy part, actually going out into Yemen or where ever you may be to do the work is what Jesus wants. We have moved into a society which is often created by educated lies, lying has become a standard part of our life, along with the occasional sin which we tend not to worry about because others may be repeating our mistakes. When Jesus asked 2000 years ago to live an honest life can that really still be achieved today? Disciples have to be compassionate...
