Explain how this teaching of discipleship might affect the life of a Christian today. This following essay is about how the words of Jesus from over 2000 years ago still have inspiration today. The teaching of discipleship affects Christian's lives in many ways. One major way the teachings of discipleship can affect the way a Christian lives there life is by the way they choose their job. If a job meant lots to them and it were doing good then it would be a vocation. I believe that almost any job can be a vocation. I don't believe that doing odd jobs, prostitute, drug dealer, hit man, or along those lines can't be a vocation because it is not an honest living. A vocation would be a calling from god to enter a profession. If you believe that whatever job you do is what you were born to do then...
