What are the Christian attitudes to the role of men and women? The traditional attitude of protestant Christianity to the role of women is they bring up and care for the children and run a Christian home, also women should not speak in church and must submit their husbands. They have this attitude because they believe the disciples of Jesus being men and males were created before females. The liberal attitude of protestant Christianity to the role of woman is there are now women ministers and priests. They have this attitude because they believe males and females were created at the same time and equally also the teaching of st Paul says 'that in Christ there is neither male nor female'. The Roman Catholic attitude to the role of women is men and women should have equal roles in life and society, also women have the same rights as men in the church...
