There are 7 types of sacraments: baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Marriage, Holy orders, Anointing of the sick The 3 main sacraments in the Catholic Church are baptism, confirmation and the Eucharist. These are 3 signs of initiation. You have to have conceded all of these sacraments to be a full member of the Catholic Church.
