Project Brief PB1 The aim of this investigation is to assess women and men's likings when seeking a potential partner. The evolutionary theory suggests that women pair with trustworthy males with material goods and men prefer attractive partners. This suggests, "Men seek physical attractiveness whereas women seek material wealth and status". PB2 A non-directional approach to the hypothesis will be taken of what men and women seek for in relationships, this approach will allow for all possible outcomes to be open. PB3 A content analysis will take place observing the subject matter from personal ads in magazines. PB4 The limitation of the research method chosen is that the participants may follow social desirability when writing the ads as individuals might put what they think is norm and not what they actually look like and seek in a possible partner.
