Stress is divided into two types, which are physical stress and emotional stress. Physical stress is an uncomfortable condition that affects the functions of the body to work inappropriately. Physical trauma, major accident, and physical illness can cause physical stress. Another kind of stress is called emotional stress, which affects the emotion or mind of a person. Emotional stress includes anxiety, fears, insomnia, and experiencing feelings of sadness, loneliness, and hopelessness. Since the mind and body work together, thus, both physical stress and emotional stress can lead to physical symptoms such as headache, upset stomach, digestive disorders, high blood pressure and shortness of breath.
