Depression, it's something all of us have experienced in some point and time in our lives, whether it was for a day or for years. Depression is when a person's mood has lowered significantly and a loss of interest in usually enjoyable things occurs. This mood is common among the population. However there is a big difference between Major Depression and Minor depression. The type of depression depends on the severity and duration of the symptoms. Depression is an illness that affects physical, emotional and behavioural aspects of a person's life. Symptoms include: Loss of interest or enjoyment. e.g activities, family, sexual activity and personal appearance. Feelings of worthlessness and guilt Disturbed sleep and appetite Bleak and pessimistic views of the future Reduced concentration and attention Ideas or acts of suicide or self-harm Reduced energy leading to fatigue Not being able to cope...
