Developmental Psychology can include cognitive development as well as linguistic abilities and social and emotional development.

Developmental Psychology is one of the five core approaches in psychological study. It is widely used to assess the human ability to acquire skills in social settings as well as emotional issues, moral perspectives and the sense of personal identity.

Developmental Psychology: What Will I Study?
