The article is extremely relevant to the area of teaching, as it explores children's early language development and how it is greatly affected by the people who influence their lives, i.e. parents and peers. The title of the article is easily understandable, and reflects the main focus of the text. The abstract is also very effective, clearly outlining the purpose of the study and generally introducing the subjects for the study through the use of age groups.
