I agree with this statement, but only to a certain extent because although most children were safe from bombs, had relatively high morale and didn't panic, some children had better experiences than others did. Source A is a photograph of evacuees walking to the station in London in September 1939. This particular suggests to me that evacuation was a success because the children and the teachers are shown smiling and waving to the camera which suggests high morale. Also, they are walking in orderly lines of three which gives me the impression that the children are calm, disciplined, and not in any state of panic. This source is most probably reliable because I have previously seen photographs of children who are being evacuated who are as happy and well...
