Explain your answer using sources B and C and knowledge from your studies. Sources B and C are both useful sources as they both give us evidence on children's evacuation journey. However source B is picture from the evacuees walking to the station in London, September 1939 and source C is an interview for a teacher at the time. The picture basic shows us that the children were on their way to the railway station, being escorted by teachers, which is true as this was a typical case of evacuation in 1939. It also shows us those teachers where in control of the pupils as teachers were leading the way and controlling the line.
