Introduction The aim of our study is to ascertain how much time the general public spend interacting with a particular species of monkey, and how many people are in that group. I investigated this at Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre, in Dorset, where many species of monkeys are sent from the wild, because of their backgrounds. For example being used as a photographers prop. The species I have decided to study, to see how much time humans spend interacting with them, is the woolly monkeys. This is because I felt that the woolly monkeys were more active compared to the other monkeys within the centre. I know this because I originally went round the whole site observing each species of monkey.
