The Anonymous Misery of Third World Children As a society of over consumers we turn a blind eye to child labour practices in developing countries. We can appose child labour by educating ourselves, buying smart and boycotting large corporations guilty of child labour. Stores who are rumored to use sweatshops are Wal-Mart, Nike, and Bloomingdales. These are all American companies. Bloomingdales is a popular and thriving American company where "the luscious glowing colors of carpets fetch prices in the thousands".
