Your response should focus on a limited number of literacy objectives but should include discussion of the ways in which speaking and listening can be used to enhance children's understanding. I have chosen 'The Enchanted wood' as I remember reading it when I was at primary school and really enjoyed it. I shall write a little about the book followed by how it can be used to promote speaking and listening skills. I shall give an example of how it can be used in the primary school for reading and how this can then be used for a written piece.
