Air Strike It was around 4 pm, and the city was in one of its quietest nights the people were all asleep, accept for those who had woken up for prayer. Suddenly and as the sheikh announced the prayer the sirens went on, and they grew louder and louder. Families woke up each other as the parents gathered their children in the dark for the electricity had been cut off. Darkness took over as the noises of the people got louder from building to the other, and so did the movement, for all the people were heading towards the shelter. It was an air strike, and all the people of the building hurried down the stairs as they stumbled over each other. The men and women carried their young as they ran towards safety. No one had time to talk to the other, but finally they all gathered up in the shelter,...
