Dale Miller Psych 101 - Intro 10/9/01 Dr. Dana Erikson Stages Adolescence: My first interview was with a 19-year-old female, a sophomore in college, who is currently in a serious relationship and has been for over 16 months. She is very athletic and very intelligent. I mainly focused on her adolescent stage and her transition, if one has been made, into her young adulthood stage. ? She feels very confident in who she is and where she sees herself going right now in her life ? Family issues were her main struggle through her adolescence ? Shared about how her parents, mostly father, attempted to make her feel inferior during early teen years until an understanding was reached. ? Feels this period strengthened who she is today and gave her the ability to stand up for who she is and what she believes in. ? Doesn't feel she's completed the young adult stage yet because she still is learning...
