Over the last 10 years, companies such as Nintendo, Sega and Sony have become household names. These huge entertainment companies have been making money all over the world and characters such as Mario and Sonic have become hits with millions of children. The question on the minds of millions of parents however is are these computer games really worth the price? Soaring popularity has led to claims that these games encourage violence, discourage children from homework and also lead to medical problems such as epilepsy. It is thought to be exploiting parents and children around the country and ultimately the world. Price is a big issue for all parents when choosing to pay for a computer game for their child.
