I have grown to realise that politics is a very powerful and influential tool and, following the devastating events of 9/11, my enthusiasm and will to learn more about the subject has increased. I am now hoping to further this interest at degree level. At present I am studying the following A levels; History, Media studies and Sociology. Studying a range of subjects has provided me with essential skills which will help me achieve my goals and enable me to progress further at university. Such skills consist of the ability to analyse sources, approach issues from different perspectives and to present and debate on issues with clarity and confidence. A level History has provided me with a range of transferable skills, focusing widely on the ability to understand, scrutinise and evaluate a range of sources from different perspectives as well as addressing the political issues behind decisions undertaken in various countries...
