IS IDEALOGY A WRONG VIEW OF THE WORLD Introduction The first question that needs to be asked is what is an ideology? Once this concept has been clearly defined I will look at its relevance in society and how different ideologies contrast with each other. I will then look and see if ideology has any place in our society and what future, if any, it has. Depending on which ideological group you are speaking to at the time, will usually produce differing interpretations of the concept of ideology. The item 'ideology' was originally introduced in 1796 by a French philosopher named Destutt and he referred to is as the scientific principle of ideas hoping that it would eventually reach the level of a science such as biology.
