Mayor William Wilson of the Metro-party was lying on his back with a bullet wound to the forehead. Detective James Carter was a tall, Afro-American man who always wore a beige coloured trench coat. Detective Carter had been a private detective for five years and was dedicated to his job. He had been looking for clues all night and fruitlessly retired to his office. Forensics, Police and Journalists had been at the scene of the crime all night. On his way to the office he stopped at his local 24hr café for a cheap dinner.
