Introduction: All successful businesses have a motivated workforce who are committed to their jobs. If the business has motivated workers, it is more likely that more products will be produced or services provided. This helps this business as they will make more money. A well motivated worker is someone that enjoys the work and should have no problem in putting in extra hours of overtime and are more likely to accept bad news better. It is very hard for a manager to make their workforce motivated because a problem is always likely to arrise, on most occasions it is to do with money. When workers become involved in with a trade union it cause disruption because they can persuade workers to push for extra money, so at times it can be expensive to motivate a workforce.
