"What is the importance for your own household of trade with the EU?" Introduction: In order to answer the question above, I have to analyse the goods and services in my own household (Households are owners of all factors of production in the economy e.g. Land, Labour, Capital and Entrepreneurship). Trade is the importing and exporting of goods and services for reasons such as some countries having total advantage over others, cheaper to import or to specialise and trade. The EU (European Union) is the successor organization to the European Community (EC), which forms a common market to trade goods and services with no tariff within the EU trading bloc. Theory: What is the basis for trade? There are many reasons for trading: countries trade in order to get goods and services that they cannot produce because of poor climate and lack of natural resources (Countries have total advantage over us).
