The debate of whether the UK should join the Euro like many other European countries, like France and Germany, is a fairly large one at the moment. Just like any other debate, there are two sides to this argument, both very convincing. I will now explain them as best as I can. One of the most obvious, and main, advantages of the single European currency is that it would generate greatly reduced prices. Currently, Great Britain has been given the tag "Rip-off Britain" because of the frequent expensive prices which we are charged for goods and services compared to other countries. Trade will take place much easier, without the need for exchange rates and currency commission, under the single currency. This means that one country would be able to specialise in a certain good or service while other countries will be able to specialise in others. This would cause a higher...
