Examine the main forces of change impacting on European banking and financial sectors focusing particularly on de-regulation. During the past few decades many changes have taken place in the European financial sectors, to bring it to where it is today. I will need to look closely at the changes in the European financial sectors, this means that I will need to look both at the changes that have occurred in the banking and the other financial sectors that exist throughout the European union. I am also going to need to look very closely at the process of de-regulation; this is the process of removing controls or rules that have previously been imposed on the financial sectors. The main reason(s) why the financial system needs to be regulated is to prevent market failures that would in turn risk the future of the whole economy. It also needs to be regulated so...
