Cultural Similarities and Differences between EU Member States There are many similarities and differences between the member states of the EU; these differences will vary from country to country but they will all have a profound impact on the way in which Tesco operates within their country. Financial independence of the people of the country and the amount of disposable income people have will affect the way in which Tesco's operates i.e. the more disposable income the more the people will have to spend in Tesco's stores. This will affect the quality of the products that Tesco can sell in that country i.e. higher incomes mean that more quality products that are high in value can be offered to the customers.
