To find out how the angle of incidence affects the power output of a solar cell I will have to research how power is created and how the angle of incidence may affect this. In a silicon solar cell, the silicon semiconductor is doped with phosphorous to create N-type silicon and with boron to create P-type silicon. When you put the two of these together, it creates an electric field. The magnetic field acts as a diode allowing electrons to flow one-way and not the other. When photons hit the cell a portion of it's energy absorbed into the semi-conductor. The energy in the semiconductor knocks an electron loose allowing it to flow freely and creating a hole.
