I will do this with diagrams and descriptions of each type of muscle found the human body. The Muscular System Muscles make up the bulk of the body and account for about one- third of its weight The Functions of the Muscular System Muscular contraction: * Enables the body to move * Provides the force that pushes the substances, such as blood and food through the body.
