In this paper I will be looking predominately at the skeletal system and associated system detailing what affects their normal functioning homeostatic balance. The disorders I will be looking at will be Osteoporosis and associated imbalance Rickets and Osteomalacia. A bone is made up of several different tissues working together: bone or osseous tissue, cartilage, dense connective tissues, epithelium, adipose tissue, and nervous tissue. Due to this, each individual bone is an organ. Bone tissue is a complex and dynamic living tissue. It continually goes through a process called remodelling which builds new bone tissue and breaking down old bone tissue. The entire framework of bones and their cartilages together constitute the skeletal system. This first part of this paper will look at various components of bones, how they
