In this paper I will be looking predominately at the skeletal system and associated system detailing what affects their normal functioning homeostatic balance. The disorders I will be looking at will be Osteoporosis and associated imbalance Rickets and Osteomalacia. A bone is made up of several different tissues working together: bone or osseous tissue, cartilage, dense connective tissues, epithelium, adipose tissue, and nervous tissue. Due to this, each individual bone is an organ. Bone tissue is a complex and dynamic living tissue. It continually goes through a process called remodelling which builds new bone tissue and breaking down old bone tissue.
