Recent Reviews of French Essays

What our users think of the French essays in this section:

"The structure of this essay leaves much to be desired - it lacks a coherent introduction; the main body, though containing pertinent points, lacks a convincing style and the conclusion, though containing personal opinions does not relate directly to the question. There are many minor errors (especially orthographical) that could have been avoided if the work had been checked thoroughly. Furthermore, much of the works reads as though it has been literally translated from English - which gives it a clumsy feeling. For example, the first sentence of the second paragraph needs to be read numerous times to try to work out the meaning (is French the most popular second language or second most spoken language in Europe?). The use of 'aussi' is welcome but its positioning in sentences is often wrong. The conditional should be used in many instances but has not been mastered. TSR User: kftjkp"
