English Assessment Task: Yr11 The story of Prometheus is about an immortal that decides to give humans fire, it is also a story that challenger's the reader's perspective. One thing this story does is depict both Prometheus and Zeus very differently. It very clearly wants the reader to have a more appreciated perspective for Prometheus than to Zeus. This can be seen when the story first describes Prometheus as "...good and kind..." in the third paragraph. This first phrase describing Prometheus is very important to the character as it promotes himself to readers as the "good guy" in the story. Zeus on the other hand is portrayed as the "bad guy". He is the one that does not want humans to have fire, therefore, described as a cruel tyrant.
