Does the future of the Magazine Industry look bright or gloomy? Throughout the history of the Magazine Industry, it is obvious that it has constantly been a very successful market, due to its evolution and adaptation to our changing society through technology and other techniques. However, many titles in the industry have been subject to failure due to their inability to do this, such as Smash Hits. Some may argue that the industry is facing imminent collapse through the popularity of the Internet, for example, because of its ability to deliver multitudes of information within the comfort of one's own home. Whilst this may be possible, some titles such as The People's Friend have remained extremely successful throughout the life of the industry.
