Internet project I have chosen to do my Internet project on atomic structure, I have chosen this because I do Chemistry for GCSE and its one of my favourite subjects and I enjoy learning about atomic structure. I am going to do this by searching different search engines and see how many websites I can get from each search engine. I am going to search five different search engines and her they are: I went to each of these sites and went to keyword and typed in Chemistry, the results of the following search is giving in the table below: Search Engine Number of results Google 6,360,000 AOL 5,890,736 Lycos 4,268,024 Yahoo 1387 Altavista 2,182,288 I then searched using these results and typed Atomic Structure as my keyword and I got the following results: Search Engines Number of results Google 835,000 AOL 274,916 Lycos 453,457 Yahoo 6 Altavista 200,188 As you can see from the results tables Google came up with the most results in both searches and Lycos came up
