Media Unit The two advertisements that I am advertising are from the Times' Sunday supplement. The times is a broad sheet newspaper and is generally read by educated middle-class folk; therefore both advertisements would adapt to this fact in order to attract readers. This will reflect in the advertisements. One of the advertisements is advertising a new range of car made by Ford. The other is advertising Marlboro cigarettes. Marlboro have always been well know for their western advertising theme, however in this case the advertisement is not of a rugged, smoking, delinquent cowboy on a horse but of a man sitting at a picnic table with his quad bike parked near by. As simple and random as this may sound it does have some depth and relevance to it. The cowboy that Marlboro previously used in their advertising schemes was a type of role model for men back...
