GCSE MATHS STATISTICS COURSEWORK By Christopher Davies Form 11 Dane An Investigation of Factors Influencing House Prices and Sales I plan to investigate some of the factors affecting the sale and the price of houses in this country. I have heard on the news that London is the most expensive place to live and so I will investigate whether this is true. My first hypothesis is: Average house prices are more expensive the closer you get to London. Data to be collected I need to collect data regarding house sales from all over the country. I need to know where the house was and how much it was sold for. I could try and do this by visiting Estate Agents in various parts of the country and obtaining information on the houses they have for sale.
