Guestimate: Statistics Coursework Hypothesis: Men are more accurate than women at estimating the length of a line are. I am also going to investigate another hypothesis similar to the first one and this will give me results, which I can compare, which will give me a better conclusion. Hypothesis 2: Men are more accurate than women at estimating the size of an angle are. In order to investigate whether my 2 hypotheses are correct, I am going to draw a line and draw an angle on a piece of paper (see previous page). I am then going to ask 30 men and 30 women to estimate how long they think the line is and what size the angle is.
