All signs have a physical form or we wouldn't know it was there. Don't have to see it, sound/speech. 2nd part of sign = The Signified - The concept that the sign refers to. What it means/refers to. Just physical sign is useless/has no meaning. (Is never a physical object) (What it means to us) Signified + Signifier = Sign Signs:> Tastes> Text> Photo> Body Language> Expressions> Drawing> Smells> Sounds> Film/video> Gesticulations> Textures Any form of communication is a sign.
