The Responsibilities and Implications of Legislation on Recruitment from a Businesses Perspective In order for the Government to ensure that businesses are working fairly towards employees, competition and partners, laws need to be given. If a business does not comply with the laws given then they can be taking the risk of being sued and destroying their reputation. Below I have headed different laws and given a businesses view on them: * Equal Pay Act 1970 This act covers the equal pay value for the same work performed by men and women. Sex discrimination in pay is unlawful. The law provides a procedure by which an individual can take a claim for equal pay to an Industrial Tribunal.
