Using communication to attract the opposite sex is part of human nature and is a universal and essential aspect of human interaction and behaviour. If we did not initiate contact and express interest in members of the opposite sex, we would not progress to reproduction and the human species would become extinct. It involves a combination of verbal and non-verbal communication skills in order to attract the male sex. Most people focus on the verbal element but in fact the non-verbal element is much more important. Therefore I have decided to focus on the non-verbal element of attracting the male sex. Burton and Dimbleby organises body language in to five categories: * Gesture * Facial Expression * Body posture * Proximity * Touch Eye contact is part of the larger system of n.v.c. of facial expression.
