Although I look forward to the strict ban on smoking in all public places in July 2007, I feel that a further outright ban should take place. This would include banning smoking in all open air locations, such as the streets outside pubs/bars. Even though smoking is due to be banned in bars, people are still able to smoke outside. Some bars are even adapting to accommodate smokers outside, which I feel will not encourage the weaker individuals to give up. Over the years smoking related diseases from over 12 million adults in the UK alone has cost the NHS more...
